Mobile broadband packages are more widely available and also becoming a more common method of internet access.
The mobile broadband packages use the mobile's 3G network to transmit the data rather than the traditional fixed telephone line method. This means that you can get mobile broadband on the move and don't have to be in your own home to access the internet.
At this moment in time mobile broadband packages have slower speeds than traditional fixed line broadband packages, although this could change in the future as more investment to the 3G network is made. The fastest mobile broadband package is up to a maximum of 7.2mbps, while some broadband package provide speeds of up 24mbps.
You have the choice of traditional fixed line broadband packages and mobile broadband packages, the one which is best for you will depend on what you intend to use the internet for. If you want to be able to access the internet then a mobile broadband package is for you.
